Terms of Service
These terms govern a merchant's use of the Storeward Relay storefront monitoring service.
Effective date: September 30, 2026
Storeward Relay is operated under the Storeward Labs brand. Installing or using the app means that the merchant accepts these terms.
The service
Storeward Relay checks merchant-authorized storefront purchase paths, records monitoring results, and presents incident and recovery information. The initial service is free. Any future paid service will be presented separately through Shopify's approved billing mechanisms before a charge is accepted.
Merchant responsibilities
- Only monitor storefronts and URLs owned or controlled by the installed Shopify shop.
- Keep shop, theme, product, and contact information accurate enough for monitoring to work.
- Review incident information and make independent operational decisions.
- Do not use the service to scan third-party systems, interfere with another service, or violate applicable law.
Monitoring limitations
Monitoring is a diagnostic aid, not a guarantee that every storefront problem will be detected or that every alert represents a customer-visible outage. Network conditions, storefront changes, access controls, and third-party services can affect results. Storeward Relay retries definitive failures before opening an incident and treats ambiguous selector conditions separately, but merchants remain responsible for storefront availability and advertising decisions.
Advertising automation
The initial release does not perform live advertising changes. Any displayed advertising pause or resume activity is a simulation unless the app explicitly states that a separately released live integration has been enabled by the merchant.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes. Shopify and other third-party platforms remain governed by their own terms and availability.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from storefront downtime, advertising spend, third-party failures, or decisions made from monitoring results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and contact
A merchant can stop using the service by uninstalling the app. We can restrict use that threatens the service, other merchants, or third parties. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@storewardlabs.com.
